Vector Layers Difference

Difference - Removes the background layer from the foreground layer to cut away any section of the foreground that overlaps with the background layer. The tool creates new faces to close the area where the background layer cuts through the foreground.


1. In Workspace click on Vector Layers Difference

2. Select the desired vector layers from your Workspace and click on Apply

Important note: choose selectively the Target Layer and Reference Layer as the output may differ.

3. Option to visualize the to be processed layers on the map

4. After successful processing a new "Difference" vector layer will appear in the Workspace

5. The processed Difference layer can be visualized on the map

6. Optional the appearance of the Difference vector layer can be changed in properties
